Indian Army Recruitment Rally 2021- Online apply Start 25 Dec To 23 january 2021


Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of 10 x districts of Upper Assam (Jorhat, Majuli, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Sivasagar, Charaideo, Dhemaji, North Lakhimpur and Karbi Anglong) wef 06 Feb 2021 to 19 Feb 2021 at Mariani (Venue). Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 25 Dec 2020 to 23 Jan 2021. Admit Cards for the rally will be sent to registered e-mail of the candidates from 24 Jan 2021 to 30 Jan 2021. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card.

Categories and as per Qualitative Requirements:

 1)Soldier General Duty (All Arms), Age-17 ½ -21 years.Education qualification: Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system Min of D Grade (33- 40) in indl subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.

2)Soldier Technical, Age: 17 ½ -23, Education qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with Min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

3)Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) 10th Pass, Age: 17 ½ -23, Education qualification : (i) Class 10th Simple pass. (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject.

4)Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) 8 th Pass,Age 17 ½ -23,Education qualification: (i) Class 8th Simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper). (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject.

Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site); 1.6 km running.

Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).

Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested passport size colour photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months old. Computer printouts / photo shopped photographs will NOT be accepted.

Education Certificates (i) Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educational qualifications achieved by candidate i.e. Matric / Intermediate / Graduation etc from recognized School / College / Board / University.

 (ii) Provisional / online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board / University.

 (iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bring School Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO / DEO.

Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph of the candidate issued by Tehsildar / District Magistrate.

Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six months.

Relationship Certificate. Son of Servicemen (SOS) /Son of Ex-Servicemen (SOEX) /Son of Widow (SOW) / Son of War Widow (SOWW) Candidates are required to produce the following documents :- (i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Records Office only duly signed by Record Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and Particular of the Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal / stamp is endorsed. 

(ii) A declaration to the effect as mentioned in the Affidavit on Ten Rupees Non-Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1st Class / Executive / Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidate at rally site. Format of affidavit attach as per Appendix ‘A’.

 (iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex- Serviceman also to be produced. Name and date of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.

NCC Certificate. NCC A / B /C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A /B /C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders.

Affidavit. An affidavit duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper as per specimen duly attested by notary will be submitted by candidate. No serial to be left blank in the affidavit. Format attached as per Appendix ‘E’.

Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over to Civil Police.  

Tattoo. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e From inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm / back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred further selection.


Precautionary Anti COVID measures. (a) All candidates must be in possession of the following while reporting for rally site, without which they will not be allowed to participate in the rally :- (i) COVID-19 free/asymptomatic certificate. Candidates are requested to be examined by a doctor from Government hospital and obtain a COVID-19 free/asymptomatic certificate as per Appendix ‘F’. The certificate should have been issued within 48 hours prior to the rally reporting day. (ii) No risk Certificate attached as Appendix ‘G’. (iii) Personal face masks, gloves and hand sanitizers. (b) Candidates having any symptoms related to COVID-19 are advised not to move from his home station. Candidates will be returned back if symptoms like fever, cold, cough & running nose are detected at the rally site. (c) All candidates will be thermally screened at the rally site. Candidates having higher than normal temperature/showing symptoms will be directed to report again on a designated day earmarked by the ARO for all such cases. If the candidate is again having symptoms on the designated day, he will not be allowed to participate in the rally. (d) Candidates are advised to download Arogya Setu Application at least 15 days prior to date of rally and take self assessment regularly. (e) Candidates from containment zones will not be allowed to attend the Rally. (f) DO’s and Don’ts while in recruitment rally :- (i) Wear mask at all the time and before putting on mask, clean with soap and water. Replace mask with a new one as soon as it is damp and do not re-use single use mask. (ii) Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with soap and water during verification of documents and prior to appearing for the tests. The same will be available at site. (iii) Maintain social distancing as per government orders amongst each order. Don’t touch your body parts on any surface unnecessarily. (iv) Finally, be supportive, be careful, be alert and be safe.
